The members of the GeoComunidad apply the platform of the GeoCitizen to different initiatives of citizen participation. The GeoCitizen is an interactive platform for proposing collective and constructive solutions for the efficient development of the living space of our neighborhoods and communities. With the GeoCitizen we can exchange information of relevant topics of particular places. The platform creates a virtual space for a smooth communication between citizens and actors of different functions and roles. In addition, the GeoCitizen helps us leading a collective process and documenting a series of necessary and crucial steps for the local implementation of a proposal. The platform helps us accessing shared information about our living space and learning about cases of collective work on a similar topic in another place. The GeoCitizen is openly available and does not belong to any institution. It is free from any political influence. It is designed for facilitating the open communication and enhances the structured engagement of citizens and actors of an area in the management of an appropriate development of the living space.
